Internet safety, or online safety is the knowledge and ability for maximizing the user's personal safety and minimizing security risks to private information and property associated with being online, and self-protection from online crime in general.

Ephesians 5:17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the LORD's will is. In this verse we hear to not be foolish, which should definitely apply to our online lives as well as our real, physical ones. This means that we should be creful about who we give our information to online, and who we trust online.
